So very disappointed to learn that my go-to Trader Joe’s jalapeño tartar sauce is discontinued so I am consoling myself with the Annie’s extra cheddar cheesy cheese puffs. We got the costco sized bag and these are truly pure evil: so addicting. so anyway back to making my own tartar sauce.
1 cup Mayo
1 Tbsp fresh dill (I will use dried if I have to)
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
3/4 cup dill pickles chopped fine or a little courser if you like that texture
1/4 cup finely chopped pickled jalapenos
1/4 tsp horseradish
*optional 2Tbsp finely chopped shallot.
Mix everything up and you're done.
NOTES: if you are going to include the shallots, start with those and splash them with some lemon juice and dill and let them soak a little while you do the other things. You can add a little of your pickle juice but not too much to make it runny. I like mine served cold so you could refrigerate a little beforehand.

This is my Subtle Seduction By Satan (and Barbara)
(tried posting just the image, but it saved as Webp extension and was rejected as invalid file type.)

Oh! I’m surprised it showed the package. Error message said it wouldn’t accept it.
These are crunchy like Cheetos, but you can feel way less guilty because Barbara’s is gluten-free and uses non-GMO corn.
Ya. I’m going with that.

I’ll add webp as a possible option for images. It’s a little problematic because browser support is not 100%. But let me look into it and see if it is viable. svg is another one which I’d like to support (because IMHO it is the best image option overall) but we probably won’t because there are some security considerations associated.

So why is it displaying the image when it told me it wouldn’t accept that extension?
Confusing (although it doesn’t take much to confuse me).

I believe what you are seeing is not your attempt to upload an image file but the system automatically trying to preview the page on Amazon like it does on certain links to blog posts. For example link that someone else posted to a knife on Amazon:

Ah. Okay. I get it now.

I was saddened when they got rid of that tartar sauce too. It was good!

Quite awhile ago they changed their gnocchi brand/supplier. Sooo disappointing. If anyone wants a gnocchi mac’n cheese recipe let me know – it’s divine:)
