Yooo-hooo!
Well, after refreshing the site page nearly everyday and then doing a search by accident, I found you again! Looks like you are all in the testing phase still, but happy to help if I can.
Lawdy, I missed you all!! (and the wayback machine doesn’t dig very deep!)

Hello there, missy! Nice to see your CA face again. Either play around in the Testing forum to help Paul clear up any confusing questions for us or jump right back into the old Recipe Swap recipes. Please note these changes:
Paul is still working on internal links from old posts so you may not be able to get to those yet.
Also, each old thread now displays in a long linear view–not indented–so reading old threads NOW may (oh look, I just added formatting) be a bit confusing since we all tended to just rift on comments. However, we’ll learn and get better at clarity.
You can edit both the title and the content of your message (scroll over by your name in the message and you’ll see a downward arrow (to indent your response) and three dots. That has the EDIT function.
I’m practicing “navigations notes” so bear with me if you already know all this.

if you reply to a reply by hitting the reply arrow within the reply (when you hover over the message you want to reply to, it appears) then your reply will be indented. It is called “nested” The primary reason why the long linear method is preferred is because nested replies get to be unreadable on mobile devices because of limited screen space it all gets squeezed together. Whereas the linear method it is a matter of scrolling down. Nesting is allowed in replies but I’ve limited the depth because of the readability issue.
More than half of web usage is now from mobile devices and almost all web design now has a “mobile first” approach. After years of trackballs and other non-mouse devices I went back to mouse a while back and mine has a handy scroll wheel in the middle which I use more than clicking nowadays.

Glad to see more people here and yes, it is so good to be back.

I am “somewhere” within the new RecipeSwap site but not quite sure yet where or how this will post! Could someone please tell me exactly how to go about doing a Search on a topic or a recipe or a food ingredient, etc., etc.? TIA, Wigs

@wigs , when you are looking at any page (your post, the Testing forum, or the Recipe Swap), if you look to the right, you will see all of the forums listed and at the bottom of those forums listed is a box for search. Welcome and have fun looking around.

Bless you, earnie! I couldn’t see that for the life of me. Thanks a million for pointing out the search option…..I must surely need new bifocals. Smile. wigs PS: It is going to take me a while to successfully navigate this new site, but I will eventually catch on. There are so many bells and whistles that are so cool
