Anthony Bourdain's Overrated Menu - The cranky celebrity chef chops up dining's hottest trends

Too funny; thanks for posting, Meryl. smileys/smile.gif

Hee! Good for him! smileys/smile.gif Didja see the PNW "No Reservations" last year? My...

...cooking school chef, Gabriel Claycamp, was featured with his underground restaurant, "Gypsy." The menu was rather silly. The dessert featured Pop Rocks. *chuckle*

Gabe runs Culinary Communion here in Seattle. I believe it was Traca who introduced me to CC! smileys/smile.gif

I wuz watching one of his shows the other day where he went to brazil. . .

just before Carnival. He described some of the atmosphere as redolent of "a$$ crack!"--and I thought "did he just say that? Did I hear what I thought I did?!" I just about died, rolling on the floor. He can be pretty funny.

Ya know, I couldn't stand him at first, but he has grown on me and we even watch the all day long

marathon's on Travel Channel now. He takes some getting used to and sometimes he is just too ascerbic for me. But I tune in again.
