Beef cut question. I rarely cook beef and want to make a pot roast this weekend--

it's supposed to be unseasonably cold tomorrow and some light snow showers, perfect for pot roast. Anyway, the recipe that I use is an old one from Marcia Adams and she calls for rump roast. I bought something labeled as "round bottom round roast" will this work?

Thank you for your help!

I cooked a bottom round roast that a friend had bought and then

didn't feel well enough to cook it herself. It was very good, tender and made nice leftover sandwiches. I did it the way I usually do, browning it, sauteing the veggies, adding wine and a can of tomatoes, seasonings and putting it in a low oven for a few hours.

Barbara, I think they are one and the same. Just cook it long and slow, without boiling.
