Hi all,
Have been swamped with work (why always at the holidays???) and haven't had time to check in lately. Crazy busy.
Anyhoo, I'm making an English Trifle for dessert on Christmas day. It calls for 1/2 cup sherry (you sprinkle that on the sponge cake and let it soak in). However, my notes say that I used my mother's raspberry cordial. I don't have any of that, but I do have some raspberry shrub and also some Chambourd. I know these are not interchangeable, but can anyone tell me which would be better to use?
Thanks much; happy cooking to all!
