Hello again. Been away for a bit but checked in occasionally.

My mom's death 2 weeks ago was a blessing, actually. The nurses expected it at least a month earlier and the waiting was a torment. But she was a tough old girl. Ten years of suffering was way too much. But the dealings after her death have been a nightmare and will continue for some time now.

Getting back to enjoying the kitchen will be a good diversion for me. I haven't really felt like paying attention to food for some time now.
