it has a very subtle but rich taste to it. I just love it and will certainly be making it again.
I also made the Queen of Sheba cake Joe raves about. I did mess up the frosting and had "product seperation" but still, it tastes great. it's a lot lighter than the Bete Noir I usually make, 2 lbs of chocolate lighter! I love the mousse like texture of the Sheba.
I must be channeling Joe cause I had a big pot of chicken stock going too. that will get reduced more this afternoon. tomorrow I'm making his tomato sauce recipe he posted that goes with baked polenta and over the weekend I'll make his sorrel/leek/potato soup.....
I'm begining to feel like Whoopie in Ghost and Joe is exhausting me.... LOL
