Luisa, Just called the hostess and she stated that she made the cheesecake "as written," and

followed the recipe to a "t."

I can say it was "Delicious." I don't think you can wrong. Have you also read the reviews. That may be helpful to you.

 
Oh DARN! I just looked at the recipe more carefully and saw it has walnuts! >>

One of our group cannot eat nuts! And I so wanted to do this. What do you think if I left out the nuts? I could omit them in the crust and just "pass" the nuts for people to top each portion.

 
Luisa, That is exactly what I would do. Leave the nuts out of the crust and do as you suggested.

 
I like graham crackers with pb... period! Don't like them as crust.... but that's just me smileys/smile.gif
