Just made some peach jam. Just before filling jars I added some Grand Marnier. You really don't

I've made a lot of freezer strawberry jam and added Grand Marnier

and other flavors. It does not gel as well, but we used it to put over ice cream. It really "wows" company! You will love it!

Do it myself or buy?

So will I be much happier if I make my own jam? What's the best place to find a good jam recipe? FYI, I'm into strawberries & raspberries smileys/smile.gif

Up above in T&T here, are some jam recipes. Also, find a Ball or Kerr canning/jam

book or booklet(I found mine in a second hand bookstore). Lots of good recipes there. The recipes inserted in the pectin boxes or with the jars of pectin are good standard recipes to start with. Freezer jams are really easy to start with.

Pick up The Complete Book of Year Round Small Batch Preserving. Great recipes and you don't end

up with 4 dozen jars of grape jelly!
