I used 4 cups of apples as three looked stingy. Used 4 tbsp. flour. I baked for 40 mins and then put topping on. Had to bake for 20 minutes after that. Next time I will bake for 45 and then put topping on for 15 minutes. If you wanted you could probably get away with less butter in the topping. I used 3/4 cup of sour cream because that was all I had. I had to run errands so I stopped and bought a cup of coffee naturally pie goes with coffee so I'm in hog heaven.
