I finally treated myself to the "onion goggles" from Sur La Table. I have used them twice and I love them. Dreaded kitchen chore of chopping onions is no more. They work!

the inside rims of the "glasses" are lined with foam and fit snugly

sorry, pushed enter too soon. They just fit over the eyes. They are in the catalog.
