Just a quick post for now and I will post links to the recipes later if you want them but I did a Greek Buffet for 20 last evening using Evelyn's excellent recipes. I pulled most of them off her collection of recipes on line. What wonderful flavors- wonderful food. I used my favorite Hummus recipe and also my own recipes for pita bread, Orzo and spiced nuts.
I knew that Evelyn's recipes are rock-solid and work. I didn't try them out first, just cooked them for the first time for this party. Everything was so flavorful and delicious and the recipes all worked. This is what I love about T&T postings. They work.
So, my ode to Evelyn is to thank her so much for such gorgeous recipes. My party was a huge success. If any of you have not yet tried the chocolate-coconut filo triangles do so. Everything was raved about (especially the lamb) but the chocolate got the biggest ovation.
