A friend of mine just wrote me an email after I forwarded her the shortbread pie crust that Charlie posted and 'raw' crusts made with nuts mixed with either dates or apricots and pressed into a dish.
Her question of me is can you use the shortbread crust, or the others, as you are baking the pie. Or do you need to bake the ingredients and then pour them into the pie???
