As many of you know this bread is really good.

Over the weekend I gathered up all the pumpkins around the house to get them cooked up. I can't believe how many pumpkins I bought. There will be enough puree to fill a freezer once I get them all roasted. Anyway, I made a double recipe last night with some fresh puree and filled 2 9x5 loaves. I made a couple of little changes. I used 2C total of sugar and that was plenty. And then with all the conversation of cardamom I used 1/2t cloves and 1/2t cardamom. For the ribbon I used 12oz of cream cheese because that's how much I had in the fridge. I think it turned out really good!

Deb and Michael, LOL! I would love to share with you all, but one loaf was

totalled here at work and the other is for DH for breakfast this week:) So sorry, but as you know, I do have just a few more pumpkins to turn into something tasty.......

so, you're admitting that you have more pumpkin?! no excuse now to bake another for sharing.
