Speaking of "stick blenders". My Braun Immmersion blender bit the dust. Wish it would have

happened sooner and I could have put it on my Christmas List. Any suggestions on a new one. Had the Braun for many years - one piece - worked great, never clogged. Now it comes it two pieces, I think.

 
Just got a Cuisinart for hubby....

.... since his bit the dust too.

We love it! The thing is sturdy, goes through frozen strawberries as if it's nothing. Plus, it's very beautiful, all in stainless steel, with the added bonus of releasing the bottom part for easy cleaning

I could not be happier with the gift I gave him (as I now started having smoothies for breakfast... lucky me!)
