What a morning! This is a warning, and question, to those who use parchment

Yes, I love parchment - there is nothing like it.

I spent the morning making some lovely cream scones for my women's group breakfast. As I grabbed the baking sheet in the oven and pulled it out, the paper slid and I immediately lost 4 scones on the floor, in crumbles. Only by quickly grabbing the edge of the paper did I keep the whole shebang from sliding to the floor.

Next time I think I will spray the sheet with Pam or something first to make the paper stick... does anyone else have a better idea or tip that they use?

Wow, that's *almost* happened to me a few times. Greasing the cookie sheet first

sounds like a good idea.

I put a dab of butter or crisco at all 4 corners of baking sheet and a little dap in the middle.

That should read a little dab in the middle of the cookie sheet.
