Rainy morning breakfast

Back in the day I used to pull out a fancy dish for this, and since all those dishes are cleaned, sitting on the counter waiting for shelf paper to be delivered, thought I’d use an autumn set for this rainy morning. I think I need to get back in the habit of treating myself like this!

I opted tor table service. The maple syrup was a gift from NY friends who process their own trees. Blueberries were from a neighbor’s generosity. Coffee was from…Dunkin Donut.

I refuse to be “single-origin” coffee-bean shamed.
