Honeydew Dream

1 c pineapple juice

1/4 c. yogurt

1 c honeydew melon

1 tbsp honey

3 ice cubes

I used 2 small squirts of agave nectar instead of honey and I used about 8 ice cubes. This is very mild, but has a nice flavor. Good for a hot day.

Orange Mango Madness....I love this one!

1 c orange juice

1 mango, cubed or sliced

1/2 c. orange sherbert or orange yogurt

1-2 tbsp protein powder, if desired

I used orange yogurt and no protein powder. I don't recall if I added any ice or not.

Mixed Fruit Smoothie

½ c plain yogurt (I had about 1/3 c coconut milk that needed to used so I added that along with the yogurt)

1 ripe banana (mine was frozen)

½ orange peeled and cut in half

¼ c peaches, frozen (I had some osage canned peaches that needed to used so I used probably ½-1 c of those)

¼ c ice cubes (it was thick enough, I didn’t need to add any)

I couldn't get enough of this drink, esp. with the 'changes' I made, it was just wonderful!

Banana Date Delight (this was so apple-juicy it doesn’t fit the name of the drink!

1 frozen banana

2-3 dates (I used 2 medjool)

1-1/2 c apple juice

½ apple

Dash cinnamon

I’m tempted next time to try milk rather than juice, or maybe half and half juice and milk. The name of the drink made me think of richness of dates and banana, which I still seek in this. Though the apple was good, it was overpowering apple juice.

me too. the gk's will like to help with these. I'll use dixie cups for some nice healthy pops.

Thanks Pat and Dawn...I wasn't specific in what I said. Since we've remodeled I've not seen my

popsicle molds. They're around somewhere, I've just not seen them. I'll have to hunt for them, in other words! smileys/smile.gif

Dixie cups sound like an interesting idea!
