The "Bavarian Alpine Dinner at Oma's Haus"

(Argh, I had all this uploaded with captions and photobucket (that's boo-KAY!} crashed my computer... Here we are 45 minutes later...)

The menu:

Cocktails: Cherry rosemary punch, bavarian beers served with three flavors of Bavarian spiced cheese spreads and crispbreads.

Soup: Cream of Garlic with German Seeded Rolls.

Buffet: Beef a la mode (old Bavarian braised spiced beef dish), potato dumplings, braised glühwein red cabbage, bavarian white cabbage and bacon salad.

Dessert: Grandma's marzipan-stuffed roasted apple cake served with Austrian Riesling Ice Wine.

Sugarplums: chocolates, bonbons, coganc, coffee, liqueurs.

Main Course:
Beef braised in red wine, potato dumplings, spiced red wine cabbage, green beans, and pear compote stuffedwith cranberry sauce.

Uncle...

I have been trying to upload pix for 2 hours and this is how far I've gotten after two lockups and reboots, and interminable games of spades waiting for photobucket to respond. Photobucket freezes an is unavailable. Photo bucket locks up. Photobucket is not happy and doesn't like to be addressed in blue language. Don't talk mean to photobucket. Photobucket is unhappy if you call it a b*&^%$.

Does anyone have another photo site that doesn't need to be stroked, hand held, coddled, and "there-there'd"?

I don't even know what to say! I'm drooling for a taste of that incredible

apple cake. I have never seen anything like this. I would love to have you on a website with a camera and just watch you make all this food! That would be so fun to see you create all this beautiful food! I hope everyone you feed appreciates your work. If they don't just know I do.
