Hey all. I wanted to give you a heads up. On a couple of occasions we've talked about getting together and perhaps, this might do the trick.
I'm currently in the early stages of planning a conference called FEAST. Think TED.com, with a food-focus. I'll confirm it later but the target date is the first weekend in May (6-8th).
I'm still lining up speakers but at this point, I've got confirmations from:
- Crescent Dragonwagon (James Beard award-Winning author)
- Betty Fussell (Who's Who in America James Beard inductee and author of "Raising Steaks" and "The Story of Corn")
- Naomi Duguid (multiple award-winning photographer and author of books including "Hot, Sour, Salty, Sweet")
- Mary Luz Meija (writer and Food Network Producer)
- Casson Trenor (Sustainable fishing guru and author of "Sustainable Sushi")
- Andrew Daday (Stumptown's Indiana Jones of the coffee trade)
