I agree. It is a gingerbread house competition. . .

I feel that each entry should have a house as a major focal point.

Maybe they should call it a "gingerbread sculpture" competition?

I would like to see a competition like this that gives dimensions for a house to be built to and then decorated as the decorator sees fit; probably base dimensions would be good as well. Sometimes more restrictions create more creativity.

These folks need to take a cue from SF...I love going to the Fairmont 4 their displays >>

My favorite was when they wrapped all the columns in the lobby with gingerbread too...the smell is beyond wonderful!

I wish I could lay my hands on their recipe. SEVEN YEARS! 2013 GBH lasted 48 hours

in a building full of humidity.
