A bit about my job this summer-----

Was working with the same group of hydrosurvey people that I have enjoyed cooking for several times. Hard working, high energy, and love their groceries.

Ship pretty much sucked! Older vessel, needing lots of fixing that there wasn't time for, a real roller, plumbing problems, and no storage to speak of. My stateroom was stacked with stuff!

Anyway, we still had fun, did not get to try a lot of the new recipes from you guys, but still have them on the flash drive for next job.

Five ingredient chicken was a hit, popcorn cauliflower, brocolli with soy and garlic, (love those two for nights I grill on outer deck since the are good room temp).

Really good was the roughy with feta sauce, used roughy and several other white fishes.

Made the watermelon, feta, etc. salad and couldn't get many to try it--once they did they loved it and of course we were 100 miles from more watermelon! I loved it!

Had some cajun people on board and pretty much everyone loved spicy, so still perfecting my gumbo and other cajun stuff.

Weather was pretty wet and cold for out the Penisula.

This is a bit sketchy, watching the developments on the news.

All in all a good summer and looking forward to next job.

Thanks so much for all the good recipes, tips, and mostly the warmth and humor!

You know it's interesting, I totally agree with the Coast Guard "zero tolerance", but,....

there are some, o.k. many, meals that just need that nice glass.
