A good OLD post from Gail's with "favorites". Hi rvb, whereever you are. Smooch!

I met rvb years ago at Linda Stradley's home when we visited her and Peggy Bucholz

He was an interesting person.

I talked with him on the phone once. I called him out of nowhere when I hadn't...

...seen a post coming from him for many months. This was probably 6 or 7 years ago. He was suffering from health issues and he was really down. I still think of him a lot, and hope he is doing better.

Wouldn't it be great if he checked in?

Michael

Yes it would, but I have a feeling he may not be with us anymore. He had multiple health

issues, if I remember correctly. I really enjoyed his wit and sometimes sassy attitude. I like people like that.

WOW, that post is like a time capsule!

I can almost taste some of those recipes, and I even remember what ingredients I used as substitutes when I was in London smileys/smile.gif

Thanks for the happy memories !

I met RVB when my daughter was living in Washington D.C. It was around the Passover holiday and he

offered to come and help us cook. I was delighted and invited him
and his wife to the Seder. He made a delicious chicken breast in
lemon sauce. I think they were a bit surprised at our very secular
yet traditional Israeli seder but it was a wonderful night.
I do wonder about him.
