A paean to Austrian apricot jam :) (Tip o' the hat to Traca)

What a wonderful read...

thanks so much for sharing Erin. I know all about those Austrian apricots and the wonderful jam, schnapps, and especially the desserts that result (in addition to the high throne of the exalted Austrian Marillenknödel, the apricot jam is also spread between the layers of Sachertorte).

And sipping Grünerveltliner in Heuriger in the Vienna Woods or the Wachau in a heavenly Austrian summer night.

It just doesn't get much better than that.
