Okay so before (Post# 17438)I was looking to solve the Chocolate Covered Cherry Conundrum. (Went with Cheezz's Asbachs)
Now, as if by divine intervention, there I was reading the NYTimes online when I saw this article: http: //www.nytimes.com/2010/02/03/dining/03choc.html?ref=dining
Chocolate truffle bonbons from an acclaimed chef in Barcelona!!! If you have ever had any of the confections to be found in THAT city you would understand why I one hour later found myself in the boutique asking for one of each (LOL). Out the window went the truffle making mania!
Well, there are 37 flavors but the largest box is a 36-er. So, of course, you can't go anywhere without a +1. I have returned to my office with box in hand and will be roping two guinea pigs here into sampling each of the 36 together (a co-worker who went on the pilgrimmage with me split the +1 in the shop). Once I collate the results I will post. The taste test winners will fill the box I have bought along with the Asbachs.
These puppies are really a beauty to behold so I will post pictures as well.
