a really yummy looking bunch of slow cooker recipes--posted by marykay on Epi yesterday

thanks Nan. 'tis slowcooker comfort food weather up here, brrrrrr

I've been wanting to try making dressing for turkey in the slowcooker one day. One less thing to put in the oven---a casserole of extra dressing. I grew up with "filling" made in the bird, but so many like it on the side that I do a bit of both. Also, bread puddings made in the crockpot sound doable and good.

I was pretty impressed with this site, went through last night and saved a lot

going back to damn tug with no internet.
There is one in there for chicken and dressing cooked together.
Haven't looked at desserts yet--
It's been in the twenties all week here. Unusual for us. Snow is pretty, but the cold is hard for lots of people.
Stay warm,
Nan

Thanks Nan - I'm passing the link on to my lil' sis and niece...

both of who make good use of their slowcookers.
