A while back someone asked if anyone had tried the new mozzarella

sheets that just came out. Well, I finally found it and tried it out today. I split the sheet in half and on one side I put pesto that I had just made on Friday, a sprinkle of Parm and then thin slices of tomato and rolled it up. The other half I put thin sliced deli ham, (and kinda getting lost on what to use) sharp cheddar cheese and then steamed asparagus spears and rolled it with seasoned pepper. Rolled it up. I wrapped each tightly in clear wrap and in the fridge for about an hour. Then I sliced them. I think this is kinda fun and I'm sure there are a multitude of ways to stuff them. Anyone else try it yet?

Orchid, They do look like fun! I especially like the pesto / Tom. Grilled vegies would be great

Where did you find them? I will keep an eye out for them, Love the pictures!

Best,
Barb

The sheet is put out by Belgioioso Cheese and I found it at my

Publix. They have a cheese cooler where you can find the better cheeses. Not the dairy isle where you by your other more everyday cheese, like Kraft singles. The pesto was my favorite but I must say it doesn't look as messy as the picture shows. The camera seems to exaggerate it a bit more. I've linked to their site showing more.

this has all kinds of possibilities! Has anyone else tried the little mozz "Pearls"? good too.

I found them at Walmart. little balls of mozz just right for salads or appetizer picks or to stuff cherry tomatoes.

Ya know, I think my verdict is still out. It is a bit rubbery. I really like

the idea but the cheese is really tasteless. I'm hoping someone else has used it and see what they do and what they think. Again, I really like the concept of it.
