Acai bowls? Has anyone tried these? I was researching ice cream recipes and

And a store in Cape May (New Jersey) makes them (but no recipe). Sounds interesting, but my only experience with acai a few years back recalls a bitterness that I didn't like.

Had never heard about it so turned to my Google friend. The "secret" seems

to be finding acai puree. Or a "mix" for the smoothie. Several places in our town were mentioned as serving them (on google).

I've had the bowls at Nourish Juice in Oregon. They put so many different fruits and veg in them

that you don't taste any one item. Really light and so good on a hot day!
