Adding brine from Raw Sauerkraut to Mushrooms

I discovered brined products from Sonoma Brinery in Healdsburg CA. Their raw sauerkraut in brine with probiotics is awesome. Next I want to try the chipotle spiced sauerkraut and their bread and butter pickles.

Today, I sautéed wild mushrooms in butter and little evoo, added salt and white pepper, a little onion powder and a little brine from the sauerkraut. WOW, what a wonderful addition to sautéed mushrooms. I cannot wait to get the pickles and try the brine in salad dressing, marinades and use it again in mushrooms!

I have been eating a little with my lunch everyday, right from the fridge

I take out what I want and add to my plate. I love the cold crunch. Just finished up the first container today. Going back for a Chipotle flavored type.
You can of course heat it up but I believe that would kill some or all of the probiotic....not sure but every product I see with that in it says it is never cooked. Not very knowledgeable however on the probiotic subject.
