Generally, I wish AI had never reared its head. But, there it is and this is interesting. Indeed though, I go to a lot of trouble to get specific spices from regions of the world where my favourite flavour originates. I would use only my own spices, which at least to some degree would diminish the air-tight feature. But the grinder is the same for everything. So you would get spices mixing on the grinder blades and into your creation.

Another limitation for me is that when I start making something involving several spices, I take them all out of the cupboard and put them on one side of the counter. As I add them, the jar goes to the other side. As the years progress, I'm sure this habit will become essential.

I think I'll pass. (well we all do eventually but I meant just pass on the spice grinder)
 
No, i would not use this. In general I avoid gadgets. I have a very small kitchen and this means the less gadgets the better. plus, I have better control of the amounts.
 
I'll join the "NOPE" group. I have way too many spices, blends and such to think about how I'd ever have the right one in the dispenser!
