Alice Medrich Recipe - "Vanilla-Sparkling Wine Pound Cake," featured in Better Homes & Gardens

A friend made this for our Bunco group.

I didn't try it (opted for the chocolate truffle pie), but my mom did and thought it was a little dry...not sure what you could do about that

 
Their recipe is pretty much what I did except I used milk instead of wine - my 2nd attempt was

just right - with the addition of a few wafers of white candy melts. Thanks for remembering me tho!
