In a hurried moment today at Trader Joes I picked up a box of a mix called Chocolate Peppermint Loaf Mix. I had not bought a mix in 25 years or more. It came together in a minute and was delicious. Served for Halloween dinner desert for those of us with no Trick or Treaters. It was swell with a little whipped cream. I'll get another one for a holiday quick dessert.

Trader Joe's can come up with some really good products. It's hit-and-miss for me,...
