All you pie bakers. I thought this was a really pretty presentation. Flower Pie

Pretty! It's always one of those "DUH" moments when I see you can do something besides lattice!

Oh, you've just given me such a great idea!

My Girl Scout troop is going to repeat a very successful fund-raiser we did two years ago - Dessert of the Month Club. But the problem was that DD and I did almost all the cooking, because it had to be done on Sundays to be distributed at leader meetings on Mondays. But if we sell FROZEN desserts, we can just make them at our regular meetings and store them in the freezer until needed! We can't do the jars, they are too expensive, but individual cup-cake pies would be great.

Now I have to look for recipes that can be frozen either before or after baking. I'm excited!

How about logs of cookie dough, Lana. Easy to execute, easy to store in the freezer, and who doesn't

like the idea of freshly baked cookies at a moment's notice.

There have been quite a few threads here over the years for cookie dough that can be frozen in logs, if you need some recipes to go from.

In fact, now that I think about it, wouldn't "Cookie of the Month" be a good theme too? Hmmm, my

mind is racing with using this as a unique gift right now for some cookie lovers.
