Sorry, I guess I pulled a "Ina Garten" in there... smileys/smile.gif

but I wanted to pump up the saffron gift my friend offered...

I guess the most important thing is to get saffron that is not powdered, because often that type of saffron is adulterated, and has little of the precious flower stems

I think Penzey's and Spice House are trustworthy sources
