Almond Texas Sheet Cake

My aunt adores it too. I will pass this on. She even POURS it into her brownie batter.

And I don't mean she adds a little either.

This sounds delicious, but I'm not sure what to bake it in. Is it a rimmed

baking sheet, like a jelly roll pan? How high does it rise? And, since I'm in Denver, this is probably a moot point, cuz it may not work here anyway.

Yes, my friend used a jelly-roll pan. It had risen a bit above the rim, but not much.

For high-altitude baking, just add a tablespoon or two more of flour. You should be fine. (I spent years baking in New Mexico.)

I love white Texas Sheet cake too! does anyone else think that 3T of almond extract is too much in

the icing? almond extract always seems so strong to me.
