Have been asked to help with a wedding I will be making 2 items all the other food ( they are buying from Sysco) thats what they want so I will be just putting it all together on the tables What should I charge.

 
It's been awhile, but you should start by estimating your costs...

when I catered I charged per person, rather than a flat fee. Figure your costs per person out before you quote anything. I found (and it's been 5 years or so since I catered) that I was generally happy if I made 3x my per person costs. So if my costs were $1 per person I charged $3 a person.

Someone with more recent experience might have more up-to-date pricing revelations, though. smileys/smile.gif
