An interesting breakfast recipe. Have never cared for the little egg poaching pans

My mom gave my sisters & me some fancy egg coddlers, which is what this recipe appears to be, but ..

my sister was in need of more for a group so she just used those little marinated artichoke jars w/ their lids and they came out rather nicely.

Saw something like this on Amazon, they got mixed reviews. Looks like others had trouble with link?

Big complaint on Amazon, was even with oil or pan spray were hard to clean?

Might just go with a six-egg poaching pan. They have several different prices. Think I'll still go plain poached eggs in simmering water. I just like that look better.

Thanks,
Nan

LOL, that reminds me of a dryer lint thing I saw once on a website...wasn't that you are am I

delirious from this head cold. My cold fog has me thinking it was related to a math class you were teaching. Correct me if I'm wrong, which I could verry well be.

DH loves poached eggs, and I gave him these for Xmas, it's

sometimes difficult to remove the eggs, but he's never had any broken while extricating them. He loves these cups much better than the poaching pans. (we've had several) He's the eggspert on this!! smileys/smile.gif (sorry, couldn't resist. smileys/smile.gif

Lint is cotton fibers. Paper can be made from any kind of fibrous material.

I found a basic tutorial online. I made some when I was at UF. The art department prepped the base liquid and we added whatever fibrous material we wanted: lint, shredded paper, fabric strips. It all gets blended with water into a soupy mess and poured into a large tray. Then you can add other things to it, like shredded dried rose petals, etc. A screen is already in the tray below all the liquid and you lift it out horizontal. Drain off the liquid, then let it sit until the solid mass dries. Pull it off and wa-la, you have a sheet of thick paper.

White towels produce an amazing amount of clean white lint that can add texture to shredded paper.
