We will have our main meal, as we always celebrate on Xmas eve,but this time D-2nd-D's house "as it is on Sunday and she can prepare all day....the grandies are pverjoyed as they have had this meal at our house for the last 4 years.

Starters...the French traditio, smaked salmon and blini and all trimmings with champers

Main will be turkey, stuffed (inside) vegies specially raost potatoes asked for my D- 3rd-D who is here from the UK and puds that are family favs, 'pineapple fluff', cheesecake with the rumpftopf fruit on it (it is really good) and sticky toffee puds.etc (I LOVE this meal, we all soo look forward to it each year)

BUT poor darling 24year old daughter is asking that we celebrate this meal in a week or two as she has the worst case of chicken pox I have ever seen!!!!

We know not a sole here or in the UK that has this affliction now, where she got it from who knows.

We usually do a beach restaurant or a home that has sun pool and or beach but this year I think we will go for darkened rooms and soups....poor darling. At least we are grateful that she is here and not suffering alone in a cold little flat far from family.

Happy Christmas
