AngAk: About the unbleached parchment paper...I found that Whole Foods carries it as well..

70 ft roll, cost was $4.49 They had it on a top shelf near the organic packaged foods, not near the paper products. They also carried unbleached cupcake papers. The roll I got at Cost-Plus was $3.99 but that was several years ago.

UNbleached? I just bought a 30 sq. ft. roll at Vons for $2.99, but doesn't say unbleached.

The unbleached is a tan color. If you want a deal get to whole Foods or Cost Plus...

the next time I get to Cost Plus I'll check on the current price.

The cost plus in downtown Seattle didn't have any. sigh. Next time.

i'm bound and determined to find a bigger role for less $$ than the ones in Safeway or Fred Meyer up here. I haven't tried the kitchen supply place yet. I didn't even think to go to Whole Foods in Seattle since it's nickname is Whole Paycheck and figured there was nothing there I really needed. Question is, why don't I just use my Silpats?
