I've had the recipe that inspired the one you posted. It's in an old Sunset "Bread" cookbook. I've been wanting to make it for years. When I saw the version you posted, I thought it was even better, so I went for it.
They came out pretty nice.
I used dried bing cherries, soaked in rum overnight.
Smells like heaven, but I'm going to wrap them and freeze them for Christmas.
