Another Cast Iron contender

If you can deal with the weight...

I still say you should shop antique shops and flea markets for old ones.

The price is more reasonable and a bit of elbow grease to get them back in shape is worth lots.

 
Wow. I don't even have a 100 year warranty LOL. Looks like a beautiful pan though

I once spent that on a pan but it was a 4-layer copper pan. Certainly cooks beautifully and I make most sauces in it but that amount for a cast iron pan? Seems a little over the top. Did you buy it?

 
no my collection is from freebies, garage sales and walmart!

but I would love to try one of these made in the USA, lightweight, smooth options. (continuing from my previous thread a couple months back) I love seeing the Made In the USA ingenuity and spirit still alive when everything is being made in China - including unfortunately cast iron.
