Pomarita:

1 oz. pom juice

1 oz. tequila

1 oz. triple sec

3/4 oz fresh lime juice

1/4 oz. simple syrup or 1 t. berry sugar

salt & lime for garnish (optional)

Combine all well in shaker over ice, shaking well.

Strain into chilled martini glass.

(I did not get the salt and lime slice. IT was perfect.)

 
It's a Galiano cocktail made with cream, orange juice, Cointreau & Galiano. Double

up on the Galiano and everything else is one part, shaken over ice and strained. It is so delicious.

I remember meeting a group of friends at a bar in Florence and ordering this drink from the bartender. He actually knew what it was and just smiled from ear to ear. So proud of himself.

Of course I was smiling from ear to ear a few minutes later.

 
you've made me smile from ear to ear reading your story! Tonight I happened to see a liquor store

advertising that they now deliver. I've never seen a liquor store do that before. I had to laugh.

My favorite so far is the Calypso Cooler, so I'll have to try yours and see how it rates. I've never had the Galiano or Cointreau.
