Another question! I'd like to make Warren Brown's Chocolate Pound Cake with Italian Buttercream.

Recipe calls for potato starch (1 tsp.)- none in my market, and extra fine sugar- also none in my market.

Do I have to searh for it (50-60 miles round trip to the nearest big market) or can I sub?

 
Cyn, For the extra fine sugar just put the sugar in your processor and process it fine.

 
Cyn, I've check subs on the net and you can substitute corn starch ..

for the potato starch. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, just a little early.

 
Hi Cyn, would you please post Warren Brown's chocolate pound cake recipe? and

if the Italian Buttercream is recommended for this, please post that too?

This can wait until after the holidays.
