any advice please..bought the mincer attachment for the Kitchen Aid....

Washed and dried it and started with breadcrumbs. Unfortunatly I see metallic grunge from it. Don't want to grind meat if that is going to come out...any tips or pointers will be much appreteated.......using my Kindle fire so spelling goes wonky...sorry.

oh my goodness i washed the metal plate with the holes and left it in a wet bread board

And there is now a deep grey stain on the board ehi h i cant scrub out. Can this be healthy...is this a healthy metal?

Joanie, it sounds like it's machine lubricant/grease...

Others seem to have had the same problem; here are a couple cases and fixes (I hope). Some recommend running a few slices of bread through first, and freezing the meat to be minced.
