Any Appetizers with a Halloween theme?

I am feeling uninspired and at a serious loss for time (I'm trying to go car shopping - ugh as my car died $$$$) and I need to make/come up with a dessert (covered) and appetizer for a Halloween party tomorrow night that is out of town, and I'm driving everyone, and I need to get a hotel, and I'm pressed for time... whew, vent over.

Anyway, given Halloween is my favorite holiday and they all think I can cook or something... expectations are high (and I have no time for that!) Any tried and true spooky and crowd pleasing tasty favs?

Here's one I've made in the past

Cheese Eyeballs Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 pound (2 cups) cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup flour
1 6 ounce bottle stuffed green olives

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Shred cheese in work bowl of food processor, then place metal chopping blade in work bowl and add margarine. Combine salt, paprika, and flour in separate bowl. Turn on food processor, and slowly add flour mixture tbrough the feed tube. Stop processing as soon as ingredients are combined. Measure approximately one teaspoon of this mixture and form an "eyeball" around an olive. Turn the olive in the "eyeball" so that it is "staring" outward.

Line up the eyeballs on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in the oven for approximately 15 minutes. If you want to make these ahead of time, freeze them UNBAKED on the cookie sheet and transfer to a plastic bag when frozen. Then just thaw and bake when needed.

Yield: 24
I don't have a food processor, so it's not really needed. These are really good with cocktails.
Another eyeball idea I did was the mini powdered donuts, red gel to make them blood shot and then a red lifesaver as the iris.
Good luck!
Oh and I did a toilet bowl jello thing, but you really don't want to hear about that! LOL!

this is too late for you, but green guacamole is always a quick halloween treat.

also, Martha Stewart has a great recipe for shortbread "finger" cookies, and Rachael Ray has a fun Yummy Mummy appetizer.
