Noilly Prat, the only one I drink, will no longer be available in Canada?! I don't know what we're coming to here.

It is alarming. It's known as the go-to vermouth and now it's just another thing I have to put on my US shopping list.

Is it revered in the US as well?

I think so, I have never been able to find it in our city, but I have not looked that hard

I do hear it mentioned on another food site as being "the" vermouth.

Dolin a couple years back and haven't missed N-P since. I think the Dolin is that much better.

Can you get Dolin? It is amazing, especially when combined with Hendricks--the perfect martini for me. (and don't forget the anchovy stuffed cannonball olives smileys/wink.gif

So there's another question. I used to get juniper berries in regular spice aisles. It seems that

the main brands such a McCormicks doesn't even jar them any longer.

Really, I may just have to put off drinking altogether.
