Any New Yorkers out there? I need help with a restaurant recommendation...

My company wants to have a client dinner at a restaurant in New York City that offers Kosher food as an option. We need a private room for 16-18 people and the date is at the end of the month. Any suggestions out there?

The client recommended Solo and Prime Grill, but they are expensive, minimum of $3500 excluding beverages and service/tax. I figure it would run $265 per person excluding wine/bar....

I'm going to scour Zagat and Citisearch but would love your recommendations if anything comes to mind.

La Carne Grill is the #1 rated kosher by the NY times, and also

if you look under openttable.com and search NY, then kosher, a few other options come up. I've been to the tasting room and it's quite good, but I just scoped the website and it doesn't reference kosher. I asked a friend to make some recommendations, I will pass along what he sends me. smileys/smile.gif

 
Oh thank you! I just saw La Carne in Citisearch and it looks nice!

slim pickin's though, thanks so much for asking your friend about other places. I'm waiting for the event planner from La Carne to call me back. Party planning is so much fun! Too bad I won't be able to attend myself (to oversee things! LOL)

 
NY Restaurant

Try Marqui's if it's still there. One of my all time favs in NY.
Call ahead.. they make only one entre for the evening, changes daily.. go VERY HUNGRY!
