Any suggestions for uncooked polish sausage links (raw)?

Our local market sells homemade 6-inch "Sausage of the Week" blends and this week it's Polish so I bought a couple of pounds planning to grill and then use/freeze links.

Any ideas to use these? Should I take the sausage out of the casing and fry/bake some to add to hamburger casseroles/sauces? Thank-you for your help, Colleen

Personally I think Polish sausage is best simply grilled.

The raw kind especially. I do cut up the cooked kind and make kabobs with onion and sweet pepper too but I love the simplicity of Polish sausage grilled and served either like Cyn does or with potato salad or cole slaw. I also dearly love Polish sausage roasted for hours with sauerkraut.

Good. This is what I did

along with opening two of the links and cooking them as breakfast sausages. The ones I grilled tested at just under 160 degrees when I removed them from the grill. We are really looking forward to enjoying your baked pork roast, sausage and sauerkraut recipe for dinner tonight. Probably add the others to lentil soup as Charley suggested. Thank-you! Colleen

Okay now I have to go out and get some. You made me hungry for Polish sausage

I too have poached in beer then grilled. Tomorrow. Dinner. With potato salad.

I use sausages in pizza toppings for DH. It's his favorite because they add so much flavor.
