Anybody knows how the "new forum" is doing?

I just got in for the first time. Took me a while to find any recipes.

What's with all the alphabet soup 'users'? Are they from a bot, or just rude browsing people?

I am sadly contemplating the day when our friendly format disappears. I guess I will get used to it because I had rather use an annoying application than lose this group.

I am not meaning to be horrible to Paul. I do see that Facebook is the current fashion, and that is all that is available. But it's like my Kindle - I just adore it for leisure reading, but reading my textbook on it totally stinks. I do it because the textbook was half-price on Kindle, and I'll use the new site because I'll have no option. I still feel that Facebook doesn't suit the style of this forum. That's why most of us drifted away from Gail's in the beginning, because it took so very long to read anything in the new format, and here we'll have the same problem.

We need someone to infiltrate Paul's life and find out what it will take to persuade him to keep this going. Any undercover operatives here?
