Anybody making fruit cake?

I was thinking of doing one earlier this year, but found all the fruit that is going into the cake is so expensive its just not worth it. I enjoyed it when TJ's had their chopped fruit mix, but they haven't stocked it for a couple years now.

I'm making one more batch of stollen dough. used dried cranberries/blueberries/golden raisins this

year instead of other candied fruits. liked it just fine.

I've been using this bread machine dough recipe. I make the dough, then bake it in the oven

makes one nice loaf, or 3 mini loaves.

there are instructions for conventional method too. it's a smaller recipe than some others.
